Our vision of tomorrow's Europe is a resilient, democratic Union: one that dares to dare
We reverse engineer the policy and regulatory frameworks needed to get there and turn reports into action, together with industry, financial actors, and other key stakeholders.
All too often, reports and roundtables become an end in themselves in the world of think tanks. Having roots in startups, industry, and policymaking, we have adopted a hybrid approach, combining the best aspects of a think tank, a design studio, and a learning space, to create future-proof policy and regulation. This enables us to work across silos and combine the strengths of each sector.
Starting with a grand challenge, we build a prototype to showcase and test. We then transform the learnings and insights into policy blueprints, which often do not require legislative change, and into concrete policy requests.
Stichting Ministry of Future Affairs is registered in the Netherlands, but we work with partners across Europe.
Team
We are a small team with long careers on both sides of the table: in industry and start-ups, and in European policy and regulation. That mix is why our proposals start from what a rule costs in practice rather than from what it says on paper.

Thank you to our supporters
For an independent Dutch Stichting operating across Europe, the support of our partners is crucial. We are grateful to all of them for their trust and support.
Since its recent founding, our work has been made possible through philanthropic foundations and sponsorship partnerships with public authorities and development agencies.
If you want to support our work and get involved, please get in touch to find out how you can enable what we do.
Jobs
We are small, which means the work is broad and the responsibility arrives early. If you want to spend your time on policy that gets built rather than policy that gets written, this is the place. Current openings are below; if there are none, write to us anyway.
No vacancies are open at the moment. Speculative applications are welcome.
